Christopher Nolan has already confirmed that he will conclude the story or in simple words end the story, which has left many questions that what will be the fate of The Batman in this film.
Rachel Weisz was originally casted for the role of Selina Kyle/Catwoman but she was subsequently replaced by Anne Hathaway.
The Dark Knight Rises has a relatively large budget of $250 million as compared to the first two films. Batman Begins had the production budget of $150 million and The Dark Knight had the production budget of $185 million.
The character of Ra’s al Ghul will return in this sequel. With The Dark Knight Rises, Christian Bale who is the main lead actor of this film will become the only man to portray Batman three times in a feature film. Michael Keaton has portrayed the character of Batman in two films whereas Val Kilmer and George Clooney have played this character one time each.
This year all the Superhero movies have been released in 3D. The list includes Thor, Green Lantern and Captain America. The other two notable superhero films which will be released next year are The Amazing Spider-Man and The Avengers. Both films will release in 3D. But Christopher Nolan has expressed his dis-taste shooting the film in 3D. So unlike others The Dark Knight will not be released in 3D.
Tom Hardy who is playing the character of Bane, the main antagonist, has reportedly gained 30 pounds for the role to look more muscular, menacing and dangerous.
Many people and critics speculated that Penguin will be the main antagonist in The Dark Knight Rises, but Christopher Nolan didn’t liked the idea of bringing the character of Penguin in the film and said that this character is difficult to portray. He said “There are certain characters that are easier to mesh with the more real take on Batman we’re doing. The Penguin would be tricky.”
